Re: X1 and grounding connections.
I look forward to your impressions. In my case, the X1 is plugged into the Puritan PSM1512, which is also connected to the Route Master and City Ground Master. This was also the case when I was...

Re: Lumin L2 & Lumin X1
I too read some user reviews that were concerned on sound quality changes with the hardware upgrade to G4. I elected to hold initially upgrading my originally released K50 to get more feedback. I...

Re: Lumin L2 & Lumin X1
Regarding the K41, you would also need to consider whether it is an original G3 (Generation 3) or has had the hardware upgrade or new unit that is G4. There is also a very recent major software...

Re: Lumin L2 & Lumin X1
I believe there are some similarities with L2 and K41, but also significant differences. My understanding is the L2 is a server for the music it stores for Lumin players while the K41 is a server...

Re: Lumin X1 power off procedure
I use the remote to put the X1 into standby. I may be incorrect, but have been of the opinion that completely powering down power supply initially reduces sound quality when powering back up and...

Re: What Solid State Drives (SSD) are Audiosharks using in their digital network transports?
PM893 3.84 TB really has come down in price at Amazon as apparently have some other Samsung drives. In late March of 2021, I paid $430.66 for 3.84 TB EVO 860. My drive data recently became...

I have Antipodes, not Aurender. Samsung drives have been well reported by Antipodes owners with the PM893 the current favorite by Antipodes and owners who have moved to it.

Once upon a time long, long ago I had a Dual 1229 and a Shure V15 type 2 cartridge. I also had a cartridge for Quadraphonic--that was a short side road that dead ended. I also had a Marantz 4430...

The Tambaqui ethernet input is Roon Ready. You will need Roon as a server in your system to play, but would not require a separate streamer. The other digital inputs can accept Roon but are not...
