Yes, I believe that is the version I heard back then. I’ve been using DFSS in my system under PCs, speaker and interconnect cables. My wife kids me about it every now and then.

A number of years ago while at a local high end dealer I too questioned the efficacy of Shunyata cable lifters. At that time it was before the DFSS version. He removed them from the speaker cables...

I’ll add that this system (room and gear) sounds fantastic. It’s a testament to careful setup and attention to details. It competes very well with systems and rooms costing significantly more.

l have seen many posts of people preferring tube/SS pairing and I suspect it depends on many factors (brand, speakers, room, cabling etc,). -
