Hi Mike;
How are the T+A Solitare 1000 speakers there? I can get a report later if you are busy.

Re: Trying out IsoAcoustics Orea footers
Consider diving weights in the pouch/bag form to dampen the top of a component or NAS etc. Fairly cheap. 4-5 pound weights. Add and subtract as desired.

Re: T + A PA 2500R integrated amps. Opinions vs. others
Oly has an E-470 for sale here. I don't know Oly so I am removed on endorsement. Used price leaves room for other upgrades.

There should be lots of experience on this forum regarding the above, what musical/audiophile priorities do you value? Speakers matter also.

Re: Does anybody have the Magico A3 speakers?
Hi
I found the highs of the A3 were more extended than the Andra. A3 had more air and sparkle. The soundstage was more revealing with the A3. The mids more transparent and the bass controlled... -

Re: Does anybody have the Magico A3 speakers?
I have my A3 speakers paired with T+A seperates front end. The bass is excellent and the treble is extended. They are not bright and not clinical sounding. I have not heard such pure highs and...

This could be a good learning experience for Vlad. You handled this gracefully and so will Vlad once your money is returned. I can feel your hassle and disappointment however.

Mike, do these speakers sound like the T+A Solitaire 1000/2000. Different design, but have you heard the 1000/2000 Solitaires?

Interesting regarding the Clayton town. The company seems very low key and very small.

Re: Playing beyond it's price point
I really liked the Virtue Audio Tripath amps. Did well with my Piega TC 70x coax speakers. A little rolled off in the highs, smooth midrange a bit thick and fine bass with control.
