Both mine, just swapped from the Elekit to the Pass, the Pass needs to run in as it only has 2 hours on it.

Here they are, black one is the Pass, Silver is Elekit.

The B1k is a Nelson Pass DIY available on DIYAudio, it has a Korg double triode.

Elekit has 4 inputs the Pass B1 only has 2.
I only need 2 as my DAC handles all digi inputs, so 1 o/p from DAC and 1 from Phono stage.
Both around the same age.

Merry Christmas albeit a couple of days late.

I went from a B1 to an Elekit Valve pre, way better now that I can drive the M2X to full power.

Mine is the new single box unit v1.6 I think.

I built one last Monday, took 5 hours taking my time, great little amp, pre is B1 Korg and it drives my Castle Howard S1 speakers with ease.
They are 92dB for 1w1m though.

I was using a Copland CSA29 up until I decided to build a First Watt M2 clone, the M2X from DIYAudio.
Pure class A and only 25 watts into 8 ohms, more than enough in my small area.

Think I'll stick with my M2 clone.

BBQ, growing chillies, fish keeping (tropical) and whisky.

Got another DIY pre amp on the go at the moment, also from DIY Audio, this time class A single ended.
Gain of 14dB.

Read up lots and ask lots of questions most of all take your time.
