Interesting, look through the About EVA page and there's not a single name associated with high end audio. It's all tech and website people, hard to know if they understand the product at all.

Re: Passive Pre-Amp Experiences?
I don't use pre-amps much of the time, but my reference for clarity, tonal accuracy, and micro-detail is still my inexpensive Placette passive. It has dispatched many a far-more-expensive active pre...

Re: Magico's M-pro MBD28 tweeter and trickle down effect.
I agree they're fantastic tweeters. But the dome is only a small percentage of the moving mass, most is comprised of the voice coil and former. That's why all the 25mm vc tweeters have moving mass...

Re: Magico's M-pro MBD28 tweeter and trickle down effect.
Larger dome and voice coil also means more moving mass, which means slower transients. Transient speed is already a weakness of dome tweeters.

Re: Wilson Sabrina Review
For the 3rd time now, cavity resonances in soft dome tweeters DO NOT show in impedance traces. It should be pretty obvious for the reasons I spelled out before why that's the case. Maybe if you 10x...

Re: Magico S5 mk2
I designed a speaker around it. Trust me, it would have no problem with a 6db slope @ 2500hz. THD would never go above .5% up to 100db @ 1m.
Not going to post the pic inline, because this is a... -

Work with a Transducer Labs tweeter, especially loaded into a waveguide, and you'll rethink that.

I get a kick out of people talking about market fundamentals these days, like they have a damn thing to do with the trajectory. All that matters is quote stuffing algos and Central Banks. If they...

Incorrect, I even explained to you earlier why tweeter resonances don't often show on an impedance graph and you're still sticking with it? And a cavity resonance is even more likely NOT to show,...

Well, you're not getting a flat power response without a flat on-axis FR as well. So yes, it is also flat on-axis response. And like I said before, even power response is nothing more than proper...

Ya know, not every LCR is an impedance trap.
At most one impedance trap would be needed, on the bottom of the tweeter. And these days there are plenty of tweeters available that can cross at... -

Tweeter resonances often don't show in impedance graphs. Woofer resonances do because it's the heavy moving part resonating which cause the voice coil to wiggle in the gap. And the higher in...
