    !!!FINALLY!!!

As I've worked with waaay over a thousand clients, I've kept this observation to myself for many years, but didn't doubt it as much as I wondered how it could be. Was I...

    Re: VIVA AUDIO- New Distribution

Back in the 2003-2005 era, when I was the North American Avantgarde distributor, the mono Viva 845 amps were absolutely incredible.

I worked for the Southern Railroad while in college. I was a yard switch man. It paid really well, but was very dangerous. In fact, I was inline waiting for an opening when one came open when a ...

Re: Unbeatable offer on Revel Salon2’s

    Hi Art,

Actually Mike at Suncoast has a lot of experience with the Revels. I primarily have used Pass amps, and have found the larger integrated amps to work well.

    Frankly, I've not seen nor...

Re: Unbeatable offer on Revel Salon2’s

I have voiced a number of systems to rooms with both of these models.

Assuming well matched amplification, the Revels have always yielded greater musical engagement, and the Focals were a bit...

  9. Re: Has Jim Smith discovered a magic formula for placing speakers correctly?

    FWIW...

I use the 83% as a starting point so that I don't lose time, especially after having voiced over a thousand systems.

I was pleased when Wilson came out with their 1/1.2 set-up ratio...

Re: New (To me!) Sonus Faber Cremona M's

Another consideration might be a Pass Integrated from Mike.

I - and ALL of my RoomPlay Reference clients - find the Pass INT60 delivers absolutely wonderful Musical Engagement.

    Good Luck in...

  13. Re: I left B&W & McIntosh and need help with pairings

I just couldn’t imagine how that setup as shown could produce any sounds that would unlock any music. Maybe I should have waited until I saw more images.

If so, I apologize for being so direct.
  14. Re: I left B&W & McIntosh and need help with pairings

    Welcome!!!

Sorry - IMO - I don't think you can possibly hear the various components' capability with that current System/Room set-up. Especially in the areas of Dynamics, Presence & Tone, which...

Is this beyond the performance of the inherent grounding system of the latest Denali?

  17. Re: Unexpected results setting up Fyne 703s when usung my proven Tannoy Canterbury system-to-room voicing technique

I have never pushed my Pass INT-60 to clipping.

"Needing a lot of power to sing", I would say no, not with the effortless quality that is produced from the 703's 94 dB/1 watt sensitivity rating.
