Re: Amps that sound great with Avantgarde speakers ?
Hi Joe, I am assuming the Luxman mq300 model is SET, while 590 is push pull. How different do push pull amps sound from SET? Or is one better than the other on all fronts?

Re: MBL 101e Mk2 install today
Nice!!! I bet if you had the D'Agostino monoblocks it would be a closer match, but no doubt your MBL monos would still beat them bad. And, God, if you ever get the 9011s, Wow! (or a couple more of...

Re: MBL 101e Mk2 install today
No doubt it sounds great! How can MBL not sound great? :) No doubt the stage would be larger along his 19 foot wall vs the 14 foot wall. But he may have run into bass issues, for which he has...

Congrats on the sale! And even bigger congrats to the new owner!!!
Did you guys try placement on the long wall vs. the short wall? Doesn't MBL recommend the long wall? -

Hi Ritmo,
What amps did you have before MBL? And how did the sound change when you upgraded your amplifiers? -

Re: Network switch, FMC, cable upgrades worthwhile when router can't be co-located?
A friend owns both MBL reference DAC / transport and MSB. With reference level transports, the gap is wider even more toward spinning disks. CD via transport is a 10, ripped CD is a 7.5, streaming...

You are also forgetting that some guys own multiple DACs. :) And all setups with all the tweaks sound different.
