Re: WB ported design and other speakers

There has been some good advice given in this thread. The vast majority of what passes as technical discussion in high end audio is just marketing, or to use the 2019 lingo Fake News. The physics...

Re: Line Sources - For & Against

I have a close friend that lived with IRS for years, loves and sells the wisdoms. I would call them a hybrid, not a line source in the bass like the Genesis. It would be nice if we could get a real...

Re: Line Sources - For & Against

There are very, very few true line source speakers currently on the market. The only one commerical one I'm aware of is the big Genesis. I would assume the reason is cost, size and lack a market...
  17. Re: Who owned Apogee Speakers back in the day?

Apogee Scintilla/Krell and a few other amps. Would love to hear a pair driven by modern much better sounding amps than we had "back in the day".

Re: Technical Brain - Zero Int

My suggestion for an integrated with top notch sound that can handle tough loads would be a Gryphon Diablo 300. The TB sounds excellent but isn't a ball buster in terms of power.
  19. Re: Roy Gregory review of P1, L1, M1 (X1) combo

Roy Gregory does an excellent job with his review. As a CH owner, I just want to emphasize a few points made in the review. The flexibility of CH gear is without peer IMHO. While the performance...
