  1. Sound Lab Speakers-New Models and a New Website

The Japanese importer has a website with two good videos that tell you everything you ever wanted to know about how Sound Labs are designed and built. :scholar:

Re: Clarisys Audio Minuet Review - #2

    ozzy,

Is your carpet padded or is it just an area rug? I am a big fan of IsoACOUSTIC GAIAs on hard floors but I found using them with carpet spikes a step backward on thick, padded carpet. If the...
  3. Re: Post a Picture, a Photograph, an Image, a Drawing.....That you like to share.

This hawk visited my water fountain for lunch three times in two months. The fountain resembles a hollow tree stump. I wish it would buss its table.

  4. Re: New GIK Acoustics SlatFusor acoustical panels: great value

I meant how thick is the exposed wood strip. e.g. 1/4", 1/8"? I am trying to find out how much edge there is that I might want to stain.
  5. Re: New GIK Acoustics SlatFusor acoustical panels: great value

Has anyone tried staining the wood? My system is "very put together" as my friends describe it. My rack is California (aka Claro) walnut which has a strong red undertone. My walnut speaker rails and...

    Re: Block Audio C-Lock

Shunyata Cable Cradle Wall Plates also work very well. They do not lock but they do provide great support for two cables per outlet. I use three in my two systems.

  7. Re: DarTZeel CTH-8550 MkII video now up on Suncoast YT channel

I have seen darTZeel equipment up close and personal. I prefer a more traditional approach. At a show I asked either the importer or the Swiss representative if their equipment was available in...

    Re: Handling Heavy Amps

The only advice I can give on handling heavy equipment is to avoid it. Each year your body will be less able to handle it. What you can move now may hurt you two years from now. I live in a...

    Mike and team,

Congratulations on your success and growing your show. But it isn't just "your" show. You bring opportunity and pleasure to the many who attend and to those of us who live...

Re: Benchmark ABH2 Mono Block Consideration

That is not what I was implying. Please do not interpret my post to support your own bias. Do not lump every lightweight amp into Class-D. I did not recommend any amplifier topology. There is too...

Re: Benchmark ABH2 Mono Block Consideration

Quote is edited for brevity and emphasis.

I am neither knocking nor promoting Class-D amplifiers. Not all Class-D amplifiers are equal. The same applies to all designs of amplifiers. Not all A,...

Re: Benchmark ABH2 Mono Block Consideration

    JFRMusic,

My only experience with AHB2s is in the monobloc configuration. I found them to be very transparent and reflective of the signal they are fed. I still own the AHB2 monoblocs. I was so...

    dznutz and crwilli,

Please stop treating me like you think I am an idiot who cannot figure out how important a home demo is. Your comments are demeaning. I am working on getting a demo unit....

Single photos also allow the viewer to spend as much or as little time as they want viewing that setup and checking out the associated equipment.

This is very important information. If the rest of your system is worthy, my opinion is the N20 is one and done. If you get the N200 you will always wonder.:hmmm: And eventually upgrade especially if...

Well done Mike. I thinking working out most days instead of every is just as healthy. In fact it might be more healthy by giving a body time to heal. That depends on the intensity of the exercise....
