I have the "c" model. I was told to shy away from the D model, trying to recall why. Main thing to look for or do when you get one is replace the selenium rectifier with a modern silicon equivalent.

hifishark.com is a great resource. You can search back 10-yrs and find closed listings in No. America and RoW. IMO, its a more realistic indicator of what the market will bear.

I never could find a clean copy on Contemporary, I have and played the OJC for years. The recent Craft redo is better and a gift at its retail price on Amazon. Buy now or cry later...(The Chadster).

the CWIVs I owned were spread apart at least 6'. IIRC, the bass was also fuller and better integrated being closer to the wall than out into the room.
