I think the M6 is the best speaker Magico has made so far.
After I heard them in Munich, I was ready to leave the show, because anything I heard afterwards became a bit so what.
I like how Alan Sircom puts it: The usual test-track listing just becomes a collection of music you played during your most recent listening session [because the M6 plays everything very well].
There’s also a nice jab at the end, that this a high end loudspeaker which does not need to look like an oil rig to play well. The design is great, not always a given even within the core family.

200,000 gbp = $279,000 usd.
Here is an incredible video of an M6 system in the US. Soulution electronics + DCS + Synergistic Research cabling.
Even on a good pair of headphones sounds incredible.

Jay has his work cut out for him :-)
I think that owner found the end of the rabbit hole. Half his luck, many don't get there.
There was a pair in Australia that sold for much much less than that, in a deceased estate. Unfortunately I didn't learn of it until after the fact.
magico m6 is like big foot... you hear about it everywhere, but how many of you all have actually seen it in person??? not many...
I agree it sounds great, but there is something about soulution that just doesnt seem to grab me. Maybe i need to actually own it to really understand its strengths.
One of the questionable things about soulution is the reliability... not the best in the industry..
The M6’s are wonderful speakers. Super transparent, robust bass and maybe the best imaging I’ve ever heard. Plus they can really scale. We’re talking about reproducing a symphony at full concert levels. After looking and listening to them for two days, I came to the conclusion that they would both visually and acoustically overwhelm my listening room. The Vandersteen 7 Mk2’s are a much better fit for my room plus I really love their organic presentation.

And about $100K cheaper too.
M6 was a curiosity on my end. I chase what becomes available to me. I also was oversaturated with Wilson Audio sound. It was time to hear something else. I also don't feel that mbl is the speaker to review gear with due to their inefficiency. I needed a speaker that wasn't too easy or to hard to drive. Today it is the M6 and then next week i could be with another wilson.
Right now, as of today, i am curious about the XLF and the von schikert ultra 9. That said, that level of speaker requires the same level of attention as my M6.
One thing i can say right now is that the M6 needs premium fuel. If you take shortcuts, it will make you pay for them.
