listening window -- jeff's place article

an interesting musing by jeff day on what he calls listening window and defines as: the ability of a system to "play back music from any recording media of any quality while still making it sound and feel like a valid musical experience".

i have heard this idea very tangentially discussed here but jeff has articulated it well and put some meat on the bones. can't wait to read his further thoughts in the promised future writings.
