Hope to have a vaccine and a healthier environment by then. If so, this may be my first show since FL Expo earlier this year.
received an email today, AXPONA is scheduled for 10/29 to 10312021.

I haven't heard anything about that but my guess is AXPONA may remain in Oct. they tried to move to that month in the past. I personally like it in April better. It is really close to RMAF as well. Hopefully they will receive enough push back to stay in April but that would put them two close together though.

What if masks are a requirement at the shows? Will people attend? I wear a mask all day, so I'm used to it. I'm interested to understand how that might affect attendance.
I may do Axpona. Let's see where we are with Covid and vaccinations 90 days before the event.
Like Ritmo, a vaccine and overall better statistics, I will plan to be at AXPONA.
big density of shows, events and championchips in a couple of monthes. planetary acceleration from zero to hundred, lol.
there is a regional show being discussed in the Seattle area (drawing from Portland-Seattle-Vancouver B.C.) for August this year. i've not heard anything now for about 3 months, so it may be off the table.
very active audiophile activity in this area, with a huge DIY component to it. VSAC shows were very popular back in 2000-2001 time frame here locally.

at the Seatac Doubletree Inn near the Seatac airport. great time of year for visitors to Seattle, great weather and lots of things to do if one wanted to combine it with any sort of activity. i'm sure i will have sessions at my place (about a 40 minute drive from the airport) too during that time.
I wear a mask when I have too, it really bugs me for a long time. Not adeal breaker though if we get a group together to go. It's just too early to say one way or the other.
I will say, I barely go anywhere and when I do I mask up, I still managed to get the virus somehow. These large events have me wonder but maybe the shots will make the difference.

Didn't realize AXPONA was moved to be right after RMAF. I hope vendors aren't thinking about skipping RMAF to do AXPONA...
AXPONA has been rescheduled now until April 22-24, 2022.

I wondered how long it would take before AXPONA was moved again. I sincerely hope we have COVID under control by then.
We should be hitting the Lambda variant by April of 2022.
