Elon pulled it off, again.
Surprising, dividing looks.
My guess is, it will be a huge success story, despite the looks.
It would be even a bigger one, if it would look a bit more traditional.

Several coworkers have Teslas and they absolutely love them.
I’m so surprised with Toyota’s hybrid experience, they have not come out with at least one fully electric vehicle. Tesla’s one huge advantage is the charging network.
One word: fugly.

That’s the new Suncoast Audio delivery truck!
Oh God no. I do love Tesla, but this truck is ugly as heck. Looks like a 3 year old designed it. I’ve seen the video and know the functionality is great (and that is a reason to buy it), but those looks. Ugh. It’s designed by car people who think “it’s just a truck, it can be ugly.”
I'm on my second Model S; we really do love the car. I have a 5 mile commute to my office, so it works out well. I charge it about twice a week, at the office if I can find a slot, or at home.
I don't own Tesla stock, but have this feeling that the supercharger network might be worth almost as much as the car mfg. I think that they are still the only high current chargers, although competition will surely catch up. That network is a huge asset in and of itself.
We own a 3 and an S. I have no interest in any truck. However, this design is growing on me. The interior is fantastic. I can only imagine pulling up to a golf club in this.
Stunning design....
Musk has big balls...
Did they really have to make it so ugly?
I wonder. :skeptical: Is that the final design? Maybe Tesla is floating a concept to gauge reaction. If it is too negative they might go more traditional.
Angles are cheap, curves are expensive.

It’s out there, in a futuristic type manner.
It’s unique enough that I may like it, and it has the same lines of my speakers that took a bit to get used to, and now love them

It'll be the next Honda Ridgeline of the truck world. I don't see any people that actually use their trucks for work buying them. Wonder how well it will pull a 15,000lb 5th wheel?
And, it has unbreakable windows... of which they broke two at the launch event [emoji15].
They must have mixed the paperwork somehow, and unfortunately produced this F-117 Nighthawk lookalike design pre-study.

Some people will love the design, others not. Just like a lot of things, even in the audio hobby. I can think of some speaker designs that I find ugly that are as futuristic looking as the Cybertruck. Too each his own. Options and choices are always a good thing.
Apparently his balls are a bit too big...

With those exterior looks, I could picture that vehicle in a Tesla parody skit on Saturday Night Live.
It looks like someone put it together in their garage.
I wonder how this will translate into actual product. As advertised, it is more functional than a Model 3, more powerful and with longer range, and less expensive. If it actually comes to market like this, it could easily be my next new vehicle purchase.
I love the straight out of a Sci Fi movie look. Nothing else like it remotely.
2 thumbs up

Designed totally with only a straight edge. Surprised the wheels turn...;) No curves for the sake of no curves.
Tesla CyberPolice car is next

Not the most attractive design at first sight, but it might grow on me.
With these specs, if proven true when it finally comes out, the vehicle will smash all competition.
Musk has balls indeed.
A bit odd though he didn't test the windows before demoing.
While our great European automotive companies are still heavily betting on fossile fuels, Tesla is far ahead, and I wish them to be really succesful.
Looks like Vandersteen delivery truck...LOL
While Tesla is indeed far ahead, it is actually the "great" American automotive companies that are betting heavily on fossil fuels. By 2030 if not earlier, the only new vehicles sold in Europe will be electric (perhaps with a very few hybrids and fuel cells in the mix).
I am afraid too many miscreants will see the truck as a challenge. Too distinct to steal and hide but hey, are the windows really shatter proof? Is the metal really dent resistant? :skeptical::trouble:
That has to be the ugliest vehicle inside and out of all time IHMO...I don't know what on Earth they must be thinking.
I think Tesla designed my new XFinity/Comcast remote:

I still like it, and may consider one, it’s perfect IMO for daily urban assault

I'm ok with it. Paint may soften it up. Eco wise you can't promote this enough.
You can now drive across Canada 4000 miles +/- and power up in Government stations along the whole way.
Lego’s joined the race for the toughest truck...
