After months of waiting for a pair in walnut, they've finally arrived. I'm loving them straight out of the box. I wonder how long to fully break in??

Wow! Congratulations! I'd love to hear the 40.2 now. I'm very curious.
I was a bit worried about the synergy with my T+A gear. No reviews or opinions from anyone. It seems to be great.
I have no doubt that the T+A synergy is awesome. Despite some using lower powered amps, Harbeth does benefit from some extra power and control. So happy for you.
Thanks Joe! I think the 30 watts in Class A is helpful..Far less fatiguing than some previous speakers I've owned. The neighbors will be thrilled!!
Congrats! Great speakers.

Congrats as well, new gear is fun.
Congratulations !! The photos are missing :)
Much better , "bottom end" than I expected...
I recently swapped out my gryphon mojo-s for Harbeth 40.2 Anniversary and wow - I am really loving these loudspeakers. Thanks Mike! Much fuller bass than what I had been used to and the sound is just so natural and listenable...I took the plunge based on the enthusiasm for these speakers here on audio shark - and boy, you guys weren't messing around. I love them!
I'll be pairing these with luxman c900u/m900u and once the amp arrives (it's on backorder from Japan) will post my impressions. For now, they're pairing great with the Diablo though, no doubt.
Congratulations DP,
Great news. Enjoy the new gear.
Thanks Joe. I thought long and hard about the horns/300b route but it was just too much for me to chew on without being able to travel and spend time listening at the dealer. With the way the Harbeths have been described, it seemed like a very low risk play and turned out to be a great decision.
Congrats DP. Excellent choice.
Congrats DP - I love my 40.2 Anniversary speakers. Can't wait to get your feedback on the Luxman 900 combo. I had them in my room for a week - I should have bitten the bullet at that time.
Very nice. Best of luck! What "finish" did you get???
Thanks! I was hoping for Olive Wood but none left in stock so went with Tamo Ash for finish. I wasn't sure what to expect as the only pics online were for the C7 and the grain is a little different on the larger 40 but once I got them out of the box I was very happy with the look.
Tamo Ash is a beautiful finish.
Very nice. A fine choice. I'm boring, walnut. They were actually tough to get.. I had to wait for them..
The walnut looks beautiful in all the pics I've seen. I would've liked that as well. I however had to accommodate "the boss" and pick a lighter veneer to match the room decor...
Walnut looks sumptuous.
