I have a couple of basic questions I'm hoping someone can help me with.

I currently live in Hong Kong, where the power is 220v, but at some stage in the next 5 years or so I will relocate back to Australia, where it's 230v. All my items I would use it for are rated 200-240v or 220-240v except for the sub, which is 220v. I'm looking at either a Torus or Shunyata unit.

1. The Torus units seem to have a large input range but a fixed output voltage. If I get a unit that outputs fixed 220v now, and buy stuff later that is 230v, can I still plug it into the Torus? Or if I buy a 230v unit now, can I plug in my 220v sub?
2. Would I be better off getting the Shunyata where the output is quoted as 220-240v unregulated? Is there any advantage to having a unit that that provides a fixed regulated voltage over one that doesn't?
3. If I buy the Shunyata unit I'll look at getting one of their XC power cables to use from the unit to the wall. Is the quality of these cables and/or the power conditioner affected if I need to use an adaptor plug at the wall outlet?
