One box power solution
What's the best choice for a one box Shunyata power solution? Denali 6000/S v2 or Gemini Model 8?
The Gemini is a conditioner with built in grounding terminals. Will this combination outperforms the Denali, which is mainly a power conditioner. Is the single terminal on the Denali just an Earth? or is it also a CGS terminal per the website?
I understand having a dedicated Altaira grounding box is the best choice, but real estate is limited.

Re: One box power solution
Hi Michael, for the components that don't have a dedicated grounding terminal, I will be using an empty RCA jack. They all measure less than 1 ohm, so should be compatible.

Re: One box power solution
Thanks. But won't this also be an issue even with an Altaira?

Re: One box power solution
I'm not too familiar with the Shunyata offerings. I know when going through it with the current grounding solution I have, they were pretty clear to only use chassis or line level as crossing both on the same grounding unit *may* cause an issue.
I'm sure someone more familiar with the Shunyata gear can say for sure."We are all billionaires because of the huge piles sweet dough rolling in from our participation in the ongoing campaign to suck your collective brains through a stirrer-straw." - PTA Editorial Staff

Re: One box power solution
If the RCA jacks have an insulating plastic ring, don't use them.
You can use a chassis screw, if you clean the paint.

No plastic ring, the whole thing is gold plated.

Plastic ring between the jack and the bare metal chassis.
