Re: Florida Audio Expo - Pictures and Comments

Mike and everyone involved did an amazing job with the show again this year.
The overall quality and effort was obvious this year. I went with a friend and spent 7 hours on Friday. Last year I was there for 3 hours. If I can get away from company Sunday I will be going back.
Any of you outside Florida considering next year, you will not be disappointed. Great audio and Sunny weather, though a bit cooler than normal. Only 70 degrees here in Tampa today.

The Borrensens speakers were again stunning this year though played much to load for my preference.

As I mentioned the Miso Acoustic speakers.

One of the most surprising was Magnapan's new entry level speaker @ $699 a pair. They can't make any profit on there but it could surely generate future sales for higher models.

    2. MBL / Wireworld / United Home Audio: Although I wanted a bit more bass, the highs were a delight, and the spacious sound was enveloping in the best possible sense. Very nice.
    3. Von Schweikert / VAC / Esoteric / Aurender / Kronos / Airtight / Critical Mass: The bass was deep and concussive, and certain aspects of the sound revealed the pedigree of the system, but the highs were overbearing, and it was played just too loud.
