Bob....Thanks! We have a house on Eastern Long Island. I took the photo at a nearby beach. The body of water is the Peconic Bay. Sadly. that amazing rock was knocked over and moved by Sandy. Thankfully, our home was not damaged.

It's Tom Waits. Some get it, others don't. Also enjoy your selections, looks like your pulling them from my collection. Before Waits i was listening to Cohen: Songs of Love and Hate. Now playing Pink Floyd: Wish You Were Here ( SACD in 5.1 )

Bob....Leonard Cohen is one of the greats. His songs are so visceral..They can be raw and passionate...they can be gentle and poetic. He touches on every emotion.

His songs go straight to the heart. Have you seen the documentary "I'm Your Man"?

I'm not sure. I saw it in a theater a few years back and now own a copy. It is a bit of a strange film, but worthwhile if you are a Leonard Cohen fan....Very interesting parts about the 60s artist and poet communities in Montreal and his search as a Buddhist. Much of the film is covers of his songs by some unique artists.
