Re: What are you listening to tonight ?

Streamed an incredible Coltrane album last night. It's "A Giant Step In Jazz" with Milt Jackson. Milt is just a magician on vibes. John and Milt together.....simply sublime. It's a compilation of 'Trane and Bags with songs from Giant Steps and other albums. And through my new system.....superb. I LOVE small jazz combos anyway.

The system is really opening up now. I have probably 250 hours on it and it sounds amazing. Thanks once again, Mike.

That is a Squire band I was unaware of, thanks for posting it. Chris Squire and Jon Camp were the two reasons I played Bass and had a Rick.

The Pineapple Thief; Versions Of The Truth

    Derek Sherinian; Mythology

Derek Sherinian played keyboard forDream Theater from 94 to 99. He has a new track on Tidal covering Them Changes (Buddy Miles/Gypsy), this track features Joe Bonamassa and the best version of this song I've heard, it really smokes. The album will be out 9/18

    Yes; Yes Album & Fragile

Then I began to compare the 44.1k, MQA & Steven Wilson remixes of same songs from those albums. I get only the first unfold of MQA not the complete.

MQA which was 96k for me beat the 44.1k version. However, the Steven Wilson remix was preferable to me, though 44.1k. He brought out the bass line and drums most notable which seemed to give the songs more drive.
