I assume Cal Poly ... Many people come here for Cal Poly and never leave. When I retire from SLO County we will probably move. Too darn expensive here 
, but it is also one of the most beautiful areas in the country! And perfect weather...

Yes, Cal Poly. Maybe I should have stayed, but the SF Bay Area just has too many high-tech jobs.

That is true .
Also, there are very few places that cost more to live in than here, but the Bay area certainly is one. You have to make a ton to think about buying a house up there. Our son lives up there, he sent us an ad for a 1500' house for a cool 2 mil... dam.
