Steely Dan
Went to see and listen to Steely Dan this past Thursday. They played for 2.5 hrs. Great band - the music sounded terrific. Unfortunately, Donald Fagen seemed to struggle a bit here and there with his voice - but it was still a hell of a show.

Re: Steely Dan
I finally got to see them back in September after years of wanting to. It was an amazing show...the audio mix was one of the best I have ever heard. Donald did struggle slightly at the show I attended as well. Guess he's just getting older and the road is taking its toll on his voice. Since they haven't been a constant road act throughout their career to begin with, I guess I kind of expected that.
Glad you got to go as well...it truly is a wonderful experience.

Re: Steely Dan
I saw them on the first night of the tour this year in Portland. I agree wrt to Fagan's voice, but easily overlooked 'cause the music was soooo much fun!

Re: Steely Dan
wow i saw them i guess it was in 2010 in boston doing the entire Aja album and i commented on how Fagans voice was still there and sounded great still. i guess 4 years later its starting to fade a bit. oh well we all get older and weaker. still a great show to see. ive seen them 1/2 dozen times over the years and still love their music as much as any band out there.

Re: Steely Dan
I tried to get tickets to this concert as well but didn't work out. Glad you were able to go, Mike. Must've been a great show. Listening to Aja right now. It's a classic.

Re: Steely Dan
Saw them last September in Boston. Agree with DF's voice. He can't hit the highs anymore. And generally seems like his losing power in his voice. Great fun though.

Re: Steely Dan
Too bad Allen. It was not a sellout but it was 90% full.
We have a new Amphitheater in town. We have Boston, Foreigner and Santana coming to town over the next couple of months._______________

Ahhh...mine was the Greatest Hits night. The 24th (night before) was the Aja night.

I upgraded the power supply on my Gigafoil v4 to a Weiss PSU 102. It’s very nice step up. But with the new model, you’re looking at $2000 before even investing in a SOTA linear power supply.
