Of the famous composer, Yo-Yo Ma has said that Morricone described music as “energy, space, and time.”

The Cinema Paradiso theme written by Ennio, especially played by Pat and Charlie on Tracks 11 and 12 of their Beyond the Missouri Sky Album and the Chris Botti and Yo-Yo Ma version on Chris’ live from Boston album, are not only stunningly beautiful, but terrific audiophile recordings. The movie is also highly recommended. So sweet and heartfelt. They don’t make movies like Cinema Paradiso today.
