For me, the greatest rock band that came out of Canada is the Guess Who. The greatest solo artist and rock band member has to be Neil Young. The biggest asshole 'singer' from Canada is Justin Bieber.

For me, the greatest rock band that came out of Canada is the Guess Who. The greatest solo artist and rock band member has to be Neil Young. The biggest asshole 'singer' from Canada is Justin Bieber.

Robbie Robertson had a rep for being an a-hole particularly when he departed The Band, Levon Helm never forgave him.

I saw them once, they were on the bill as one of the opening acts for the Stones Tattoo tour in '81. This was San Diego and they were booed mercilessly.
