Melissa Menago new solo album

Melissa Menago is releasing a new solo album, Echo The Optimist. Her first solo album, Little Crimes, was absolutely fantastic. She also performs with her band, June Divided, and some of their music is fairly decent. However, I never felt that any equaled Little Crimes.

I am looking forward to Echo The Optimist and hope it rivals her first album. It is slated for release the end of this week. I ordered the vinyl version of the album; therefore, it will take a little longer for it to arrive.

It was a surprisingly good and well received album. It was recorded in a church in Brooklyn and has huge ambiance. You can hear the rain on the metal roof in the church in a few places.

Highly recommend you give it a try. I am looking forward to hearing the new solo album!



Ps... I just verified... it is available on HDTracks, in 192 kHz. It was released by Chesky Records.
