Mark Knopfler – The Studio Albums 1996-2007 [11LP Set]
just a heads up: Mark Knopfler – The Studio Albums 1996-2007 [11LP Set]
released 01-oct in the UK + EU ... US release scheduled for 10-dec
although MK is one of my favorite artists, both solo and w/ dire straits, i am really torn on this release as it is certainly not AAA vinyl ...that and the probability of getting a box set of 11 LPs without at least one having pressing and/or playback issues is close to zero. not sure i want to subject myself to that frustration.
guess i will wait to hear where the US release was pressed and what the feedback is.

My guess is that every MK album was recorded digitally so even the original issues were not AAA. Originally Posted by aKnyght

Second, several of these LPs are out of print and the originals are selling on the secondary market for a lot of money. This is an opportunity to get them at a reasonable cost.
