AI Generated Songs

So we go from extremely talented individuals creating music, to the current crop of mainstream musicians (if you want to call them that) that have very little talent and everyone sounds the same, to now a computer getting into the mix.

No thanks.

You're absolutely right—it’s a super controversial topic, especially with AI recreating iconic voices like Elvis or Johnny Cash. There’s definitely an eerie resemblance to the real thing, which makes it both fascinating and unsettling. These AI-generated performances, like Elvis singing "Baby Got Back" or Johnny Cash covering "Sound of Silence," really push the boundaries of what's possible in music and technology. If you're interested in exploring more AI-generated music or even experimenting with it yourself, you might want to check out www.audiomodify.com. It’s incredible, but it also raises questions about authenticity and artistry!

I had some friends over to compare a piece of equipment. They asked to hear the Johnny Cash song "Sound of Silence".

I found it on Qobuz, I think and played it. As soon as it started playing I thought to myself this is not Johnny. They were happy so I didn't say anything.

When they had gone, I looked it up and sure enough, it was not him.

This topic reminds me of a CBS Sunday Morning segment relating to AI used to "create" a new Randy Travis song.

Interesting, and the artist did have input.

This parallels the g search engine which now places Ai search results above all human content. Ai anything is inferior to human content! (most humans anyway...)
