    U2 is newer with a new processor, and support for SFP fiber network. Whereas U1 toroidal power supply was external, U2 design has the toroidal power supply (based on X1 design) placed inside.

    For Roon, it's best to place the music in the Roon Core directly connected storage, either as internal drive or external drive. L2 cannot run Roon Core.

    No. At this time Lumin natively supports volume leveling in Spotify (audio normalization) only. For local files or other streaming services, volume leveling can only be achieved via Roon.
