then you would be better off connecting the rose direct to the mac with usb (add a reclocker for best sound) rather than going the extra mile through the tv and back into the rose.

arc is one way and e-arc is 2 way

well, the t2 has optional umbilical cables, thats why i asked. would be interesting how he choosed the connection and if the positive results were with or without them. tha nagra hd pre is an incredible machine, i had one for the last 2 month...

interesting. so does he use two t2 and another powerconditioner for the source? does he connect the monoblocks direct to the t2 with the t2 umbilical? do you know what pre he does use?
