    My New Ride

I'd suggest looking for a resale Catrike (my wife's yellow one is a folding 5.5.9. model). Can't go wrong with them, American made in Orlando, and very easy to service. I gave up a carbon fiber road bike and a nice Trek fitness special for my Azub. So glad I did, never looked back...

    My New Ride

Utah Trikes and The Hostel Shoppe are great trike resources, highly recommended! The silver plate is a titanium leaf spring with 40mm of vertical travel. It also has an air shock in the rear. All of this makes it very comfy on the road. Pretty much every fitting is billet aluminum, which is in...

    My New Ride

I've had an Azub Ti-Fly 26 (on right) for several years. Full suspension, very comfortable and fast. My wife's yellow Catrike is on the left. Our 2 wheel bikes get very little use these days as. 20-30 miles on the trike is an easy morning ride. There are terrific paved trails all over Florida...

    What did you give up?

We had a 4,000+ sq ft custom lake front home in NE Indiana, nice boats at the docks in back, huge garage, etc. It was quite a lovely place in summers, frigid in winters. There was no dedicated listening room in the main house, but we acquired a property down the street on 2 wooded acres, with a...

    The storm

At least 3' of water in our lower level when the power/cameras went out at 9pm on Sanibel. Fortunately, we evacuated to a hotel in Estero. We also had 18" in the lower level with Helene 2 weeks ago, and just finished cleaning up and repairing that mess. Of course, Ian was another story here ...

    Chops' Current System Pics ....

I took a pair of 901's with me to my college dorm in 1974, along with a McIntosh C28 and MC2105 amp (I worked at a HiFi dealer). Hung them on chains from above. Quite the punch back in the day ... Enjoy!

    Handling Heavy Amps

I have a 110# Coda amp, 260# Acora's, etc. ALWAYS strap them carefully on a pallet for freight shipping, with a shock sensor or two.

Indeed. I had many of those character building days with SAP, Oracle, JDE myself. Prepared me to retire, done!
