Good, but man, after you hear the 860v2, it’s no going back. I really like the 760A footprint. It doesn’t quite have the big sound and sense of effortless power of the 860v2, but in a small to medium room, great.

Not at this time. Stand mounts don’t sell as easily. Not big movers as a whole. Most people would just spent a wee bit more and get the 804D4’s IMO.

To my ears, the 340i is the sweet spot and the value play. The 600 and 700 bring more power and refinement. The 700 makes a statement visually and sonically, but at a significant premium.

I don’t know those Mc pieces, so a little hard to comment. A 2500 is a better reference for me. I always found the 2500 veiled compared to say a VAC Ren V. We took a 2500 on trade for a VAC pre.
If I was shopping in that budget: Pass XP12...

The DAC in the 866 does not outperform the LaScala IMO. It’s good, but the LaScala is very special and still my favorite standalone dac under $10k.

No triple. They do make a double, but it’s for a small power cable. Best to stick with single only. There isn’t room for the C-Lock and more large outlets.

How much is the subscription? The D1X is $50K here in America. I don’t think anyone with a $50K DAC would squawk at $20/month for a streaming service.
