depends on maker, some over new voice coils, others do not

you have an issues with a voice coil

take a quality cd player over streamer any day for accurate sound

you want to use 4ohm, It will control the drivers better with more power

put a meter on the speaker terminals, that will tell you the true ohm of the speaker
