I have bought my Furutech gear from Chris at VHaudio. As you say, he is the real deal. There are a number of knock-off's in the cable world, Nordost has the same problem, as does Zenwave and a few others I have heard about. IMO, the issue with knock-off's has gotten out of control.

Dealers are the best source to determine validity. However, as an example, a good friend of mine, and a very seasoned a'phile, just sold a Furutech product on line. I noticed after he had sold the piece that it was in fact a fake. He had no clue before that and had paid ( and was paid) close to...

Recently I was offered several pairs of Nanoflux cables..all were supposedly real and all priced right.....except all of them were cheap knock-offs. Be very careful when buying Furutech products, particularly their cables. Most of the knock-offs are very close in looks and design to the real item.

This album has been on the HP list for years. It is not my taste in music, BUT it still is a superb recording that is demo quality.

Any one here as big a fan of Chris Sommovigo's Black Cat cables. I recently added his new Black Cat Silverstar power cord to my system...and it was an instant...WOW!!! The Silverstar replaced a Synergistic Tungsten cable...and was easily more resolved, more transparent and neutral and more...

I have an opportunity to acquire a Marantz SA11S1 SACD player...in nice condition. Anyone have any experience with this model...and how it compares with the newer/newest versions today? Other Marantz SACD players? Your favorite? Also, what would you go with if you had a choice...the Marantz...
