I can assure you that there were absolutely no issues or insecurities about this speaker on my part, however, I cannot speak for others here…as can be seen by their various replies!

Like I stated before, feathers ruffled. Keep going it tells us all about whom you are. I know nothing about Trevor or his posts, but as usual you like to assume a lot of things... you know what they say about folks who ass ume things! Your turn now...;)

Here’s a thought…instead of calling people ‘delusional’ and trolls, why not put them on ignore, like I am now doing for you.

Not a troll, just someone who voiced his opinion, one that you don't want to accept or like. Maybe that makes you a troll...No??? And its Pearce, Not Pierce...I know it's hard, but???

Big changes at Audio Research (again)

I would. I doubt it though.....given the pricing structure of so much of this gear.

When you get away from your bias, you might re-read my OP and note that what i posted was my observation...and my opinion. Something that you are having a hard time accepting. There is no 'hate' ,just my own experience with a speaker that weighed in at 350Lbs a side...and my opinion of that...

Big changes at Audio Research (again)

Surely, if it is 'cost plus' that one would expect a manufacturer to have done some market research to validate that the end price after 'cost plus' would be somewhat attainable before bringing the product to market! Is that not the case...no??

Big changes at Audio Research (again)

The manufacturer whom I had a nice conversation with at the THE show was telling me that it was very tricky for him to come up with a price for his newly designed amp. He was saying that it was an issue because of a few reasons. One was that he did not want to price the product too low...

Keep going. Makes you look really good as a dealer. By the way, why is it that you will "never sell nor recommend Massif products"??? Do tell.

    Same to you..fanboy.

Poor analogy. I used to own a pair of speakers that weighed in at only 350 lbs each, and were not able to be broken down into smaller sections.. After that experience, I swore to never be stuck in that situation again. But, hey, you are right, I know little about audio. Certainly not enough to...

Big changes at Audio Research (again)

Weird. One would expect that manufacturers ( at least the ones with some marketing knowledge) would take input from their dealers, their reps and their own market research in regards to pricing. Perhaps this is why there are so many high end products that are priced so high that most consumers...

Wow, feathers have been ruffled...haven't they, fan boy! Do tell how my posts are so infuriating to you and how you have anything to do with the product in question. Let's hear it.

Big changes at Audio Research (again)

Interesting. This flies in the face of what has been told to me by several manufacturers. At the most recent THE show in LA, one went as far as to say that he was having a very hard time trying to figure a pricing strategy for his new amp, as his reps were telling him two different things. Both...
