Everest 8000 w/Omega XC is what I’m looking for in a power conditioner. My Niagra 5000 is in the HT and perfect for that system as it has 12 outlets and a top quality product.

I don’t. We have a VAC REN V phono, Pass XP27, three Avid Phonostages, etc. The 810 is definitely a superb performer I’ve heard, but with only one input, I’m kind of limited. I need at least three inputs. I have two tables and three arms. My...

The Boulder/Gryphon/MSB amps are the top three I would choose too. I haven’t had a lot of time with the Sim 888’s, so I can’t say definitively, but the Sim 860v2 is a terrific sub-$20K performer. The MSB amps are the proverbial odd ball here,...

Those touting the new materials for marketing purposes are using it as a differentiator from other manufacturers that do not. Whether the new material results in a better sounding speaker or more durable drivers depends on R&D and engineering.

Guys, my question is still: how can can you better performance using your ISP provider modem/router and your own router and/or switch? I am looking for technical data not subjective (“I can hear it”) stuff. Thanks.

How much do you want to spend? My thinking is that you are trying to build a system around a component that should not be your top priority. IMO the top priority should be your speakers/room.

Maybe it is semantics. I believe that the “modem” provided by the ISP is also a routers. Your switch(es) connect directly to the “modem” provided by your ISP. So my question still remains unanswered.
