The differences between these LPS power supplies are huge. For me it was surprising what a well designed does, not a subtile change, but instantly audiable, more depth, better lows and more refined. You should be well informed before buying one. Overall: a good LPS is absolutely an improvement.

An amp with Dirac in a Denon, is still a Denon. There are far better brands and Dirac doesn't bring it close to the others. That having said a high-end amp with far too much bass is very unpleasant, but a low-end Dirac receiver is in my opinion not the right way to get a high-end sound.
