While attempting to switch playlists, my Lumin A1 froze up and now only displays a dim dime sized circle. Repeated restarts, and a hard reset have had no results. What to do?

I am experiencing frequent, at times constant, dropouts when streaming Tidal on my A-1. It is connected via an ethernet connection directly to my Xfinity modem which is delivering a download speed of at least 25 Mbps, sometimes much higher. Any suggestions as to what might be causing this?
