I studied architecture at the University of Waterloo and went on to work with Mark Fisher and Jonathan Park in London, England, designing stage sets for The Rolling Stones, George Michael, Roger Waters and others.
In 1992 I began independent design work for such clients as Rush, Van Halen, Bryan Adams, The Tragically Hip, Spinal Tap, Sass Jordan, Rod Stewart and again in 1997, for the The Rolling Stones. I worked with concert promoters MCA Concerts Canada, Universal Concerts Canada and Canadian concert promoter Michael Cohl.
I have provided design and site management services for large outdoor music festivals such a Lollapalooza which featured acts such as Primus, Alice in Chains, Tool, Rage Against the Machine, The Smashing Pumpkins, George Clinton & the P-Funk All Stars, and Green Day. I have worked with notable show and lighting designer Marc Brickman who is known for his work with Pink Floyd, and Canadian lighting icon Howard Ungerleider who has designed lighting for Rush, Tesla, Van Halen and others.
