I notice that when using, say, ExpressVPN on my iPad or iPhone, the Lumin app never worked. After switching to ProtonVPN, which has an “Allow LAN connections” option, this problem seemed to be fixed - but I now find that the app can find the Lumin and control it only about 50％ of the time...
