I have finally got things in place and my tech will be coming over to check things out for me. I have read about eliminating the treble energy components and going straight to the posts, but it seems there are a few different ways to go about it and I'm not sure which would give the best result...
Have tried contacting Tannoy North America twice to no avail. Anyone know of a reconing service in the US, preferably on the West coast? Speakers are Tannoy 8 NFM II monitors.

Having some caps in the GRF's replaced and saw a reference to bypassing the "useless" (according to posts I've read) treble selector. Anyone have an opinion about this?

Some sections of the grill cloth are looking frayed and in need of TLC. Not sure if they can be rewoven, but if anyone has a line on replacement grill "cloth" (or is is grill tweed) it would be greatly appreciated.
