With Mute turned off on Pre-Out of the new Aavik amplifiers (U-280), is the output fixed or variable?

I'm going to be selling my beautiful black N10 and I don't want my playlists and other personal information left on it. Normally, I'd just reformat a hard drive but I have no idea what format or how to do it on the N10. My computer is a Mac. Any advice would be appreciated.
