I had GIK Scopus T40 tuned bass traps in one of my rooms. They could not tame a 40Hz peak (honestly not much can passively) but they were a huge help with bass overhang/decay times. I wrote about them (with measurements) in my system thread on...

    Hi Kiwi,

I have read some of your posts on Audioshark and noticed that you used to be a big Nordost fan who started using Ansuz products. I am about to embark on a similar route and start by changing the power distributor. I am currently using a Qbase with Qkore1 plugged in and would like to replace it with the new Ansuz Mainz8 D2 once it is released on the market. Have you ever compared the D series Mainz8 with the Qbase that had the Qkore attached? Additionally, I am using multiple Nordost TC cones under my components , are the Ansuz DTC Darkz better in your opinion?

Thank you very much for your reply.
    Have a lovely Sunday.

    All the best,
    Martin
