Gotcha. We clock the aurender off the MSB DAC. You could do a N-01XD SE with Aurender and Aurender clock. Both benefit.

Didn’t pay attention. The version won’t matter because the Tidal MAX beats the QoBuz by a lot. I have both. This Tidal MAX version is wow. Tidal has upped their game. They had to.

Agreed on both points, power supply and chassis.
Also, ground-plane noise reduction for these devices is very important as well. Connecting them to an Altaira or Gemini's GP-NR system pays big dividends in sound quality.
