I want to try my Lumin U2 mini connected to my DAC straight to my amplifier and bypass my preamp but when I enable the volume control in the app the sound stops. I am using the USB on the Mini so I am wondering if the volume control works on the USB out or do I have to use either coax or AES...

Disabling the fire wall doesn't fix the problem. Tidal connect works from my phone but not my laptop. There is supposed to be an I con next to the volume icon in the lower portion of the picture I posted.
