You speaker experts need to put your thinking cap on for this I think! I came across this speaker and it looks sorta familiar but the name escapes me. Anyone know or heard of these?

Alan Eaton Mono-block 45 amps anyone?

Yes they do look great, if I knew he would do that I would have asked him! Here’s a shot of the pair of Eaton Mono Block amps along with a shot of one of my spreakers. Got about 240 hours on them and the bass is full and low and the mid-range is to truly die for!

Yes, I built the rack…….it’s designed to be under tension all the time so as you increase the weight on it, it actually gets stronger………………you say you’re a slow worker, that means you takes your time to make it right ( As Mike Holmes would say!).

The best amplifier I found after 53 years of swapping out, and changing out and substituting many types of solid state and vacuum tube amps is an Alan Eaton type 45 SET tube amp. 1.5 watts total power give an output of over 98db of beautiful sound from my Klipschorn corner horns. I am finally happy!

Michael, you know as I’m looking at that switch closeup I can’t help but think I could see it underneath a panel on the command module of a Saturn V rocket!

Zounds that’s a beautiful tester! Not an old Hickok is it? And that switch you loosened up, just an absolute wow! Can’t be too many left for a spare I would suppose. I myself just picked up a Hickok 600A to test my type 45 tubes. I’m in the middle of familiarizing myself with it but it was just...
