As a proud owner of Sound Lab electrostatic speakers I have to question your choice for the project name.

I just checked. My oil-filled space heater consumes 1500 watts on the high setting. 600W at low and 900W at the medium setting. Constellation power consumption is 1500W max. That is 25 60-watt light bulbs. Of course I would not be operating at the maximum capacity but I still have a hard time...

I have been open to trying Class-D amplifiers from the earliest offerings from Bel Cantos and Merrill Audio to several of the newest topologies. Every one disappointed me. I won't be fooled again.
