Can anyone help? I recently purchased an ex demo Bryston BCD-1 which was manufactured in 2008. The machine is superb, and compliments my BDP-2, BDA-2, BHA-1 and BP25. The machine has R01.7 2008-07-01 firmware. Did Bryston release any later versions of the firmware.

Has anyone else encountered a DSD file sounding inferior to a FLAC file when using JRiver or similar software to play Audio files on none dedicated DVD equipment. I have found a significant difference between DSD and either WAV or FLAC files when played on my "Audiophile" PCs. Both digital...
