Berkeley
Lampizator
Etc…etc….etc.
As a diehard analog guy (vinyl and tape), I would love to know what you tried as far as DAC’s, streamers, etc.

Nah, P1. I mentioned earlier that P1X was announced a week after I bought P1. So now having ordered D1X I expect Esoteric will announce D1XS next week.
To my ears, the 340i is the sweet spot and the value play. The 600 and 700 bring more power and refinement. The 700 makes a statement visually and sonically, but at a significant premium.

I don’t know those Mc pieces, so a little hard to comment. A 2500 is a better reference for me. I always found the 2500 veiled compared to say a VAC Ren V. We took a 2500 on trade for a VAC pre.
