    25 Most Underrated Vintage Speakers

Have fond memories of the Minimus 7's. Small but mighty, I used them as quasi surround speakers paired with some Altek Model 7s (just a coincidence) back in the late 1970s disco era.

    The Secondary Market

That is why I reported them. At the very least, it's a bad business model for any company.

    The Secondary Market

Bought a new Victory motorcycle from dealer A but brought it to dealer B for warranty service. Dealer B claimed they "don't do warranty service on bikes not purchased directly from them". Never did any business with them again (and reported them). Same can apply to audio equipment; questionable...

Do genetics and expectations affect our audio preferences?

I've always been able to hear faint sounds in the distance that others around me could not. Coincidently? I also have a heightened sense of smell, superior distance vision plus artistic and musical abilities. As to genetics; neither parents nor siblings share those traits though but had higher...

    Vinyl Sales - Over $1B in 2025

Vinyl's resurgence gives me hope for the future of physical media. I adopted CDs in the early 1980s and never went back. I see reel to reel is becoming popular again but is crazy expensive.

Creative gear photos - post 'em here

Somewhat creative from the time are these hand braided boutique solid core speaker cables from the late 80s. Maker unknown.

Martin Logan - Interesting videos/ History

originally owned a pair of Aerius speakers but moved up to a set of Quest Zs when budget allowed. I still have those with both requiring panel and crossover replacements over the years. Although they are not used in my main listening room they do provide well for my main kitchen/living room...

Conrad Johnson LM - 200 speakers

Probably goes without saying but if you plan to bi-amp these you would remove the jumpers between the upper and lower terminals.
