I've been buying vinyl since 1965 and never sold any. Yes they take up a lot of space but to me it's worth it.

My 2 cents….cables absolutely do matter. There are so many variables like copper, silver, silver plated, gold plated, etc. Then there’s resistance, capacitance, insulation. They will all affect sound. Are audiophile cables overpriced? Absolutely!

Any recommendations on what to use to replace the rubber balls in the VPI HRX turntable feet? I looked on the VPI website and there doesn’t seem to be any replacements for sale.

Both were over 10 years for sure. The 2nd one I bought was 2nd hand. I'm not complaining about the issue with the capacitors. My complaint is with the support. I'm still trying to find someone locally who can do the repairs. :cry:

I have 2 JL Audio f113's v1. Both have had hum issues. I got 1 of the f113's repaired after its warranty was up. The other f113 had the hum issue last year and when I reached out to Taylor Hansen from JL Audio he told me about the policy change. Needless to say I will never buy a JL Audio...

Thanks Bill, I am aware of what needs to be done as my other ff113 needed the capacitors replaced. My initial concern was that JL Audio doesn’t provide the service anymore. I will reach out to JL Audio to see if they will service.
