My guess was $67K. Obviously I was 10% too low. In general, high end audio inflation (pricing) is far exceeding the general economic inflation numbers. But as long as we, audiophiles, continue to buy the stuff they'll continue to raise prices. ...

It was supposed to mean 99.xxx% Good parts exiting the building. But yeah, it's like Organic and Range Free. I used to do work for Boeing and other Aerospace MFGs and they would have the Inspectors come in from those Orgs and 100% inspect every pc...

Like any other manufacturing of anything, there is always a level of quality issues. Unless a company is ISO9000 like, there will always be defective items sold. Take a look at Boeing, and they are ISO 9000 certified.

Agree Mike, couldn't make it past the 3rd track (Amazon HD). I too like NJ, but the music is barely "ok", the SQ is sadly worse than her original album, which is good enough for me to use tracks as show demo. maybe she just mailed this one in. Oh...

I did give this a listen on Tidal. Not only is the quality of the recording lousy, the music is not very good. And, I like some of her prior records.
